It had been a number of months since our last update but, as you can see, we’re back! The summer has been a bit of a struggle, both in deciding on a solid vision for the site, as well as it being a time when survival horror game releases have been sparse. Not only are we back, but we are reinvigorated and shifting our focus a bit…
As of now we will be shifting focus more specifically toward non-supernatural horror.
That being said, we’ll still be maintaining attention on a lot of what we have spotlighted in the past, just not as much with certain elements. As well, as it might be apparent, we are also adding other media to our coverage, including films and literature.
While the new direction won’t appeal to everyone we are doing this for a few reasons.
A) There are several other sites that already do a great job of covering a broad range of horror very well (see our links section).
B) It is our hope that, in changing the format, we can provide a more specialized and unique experience for our patrons: The horror genre of the “human monster”. It’s a genre that is growing / evolving leaps and bounds every year and it is my hope that we meet the needs of those fellow enthusiasts.
Bear with us as we adjust to the new focus, and know that we are also looking to bring more unique, exclusive content to enrich the site as well in the months ahead.
